WEBSITES FOR THIS QUARANTINE

In this post, you will be able to see some web pages where you can find many exercises and activities to learn mathematics and, specifically measures during this lockdown.
  • Mundo Primaria. This webpage contains a great number of games and activities of every school subject (Math, Spanish, Social Science, Natural Science...), for all primary students (6-12), accompanied by mathematical explication. I personally have found this resource very interesting, and schools could recommend it to families, so children could complement their online learning. There are so many very intuitive and visual little games, some of them more traditional, some of them more challenging in which kids will have to use their skills of reasoning to get a solution. The only two aspects that I do not like much from this webpage is that it is not possible to get the explication of the game or any writing that could appear through audio, and this increase the difficulty of access of children with learning difficulties. Furthermore, there is a great amount of advertising through all the webpages, even it is necessary to skip advertising before playing a game, and this is very annoying because children should not be without supervising when there is that big amount of publicity around.

  •  IXL. Ejercicios de Matemáticas. This second resource is also very useful because is a website only for Math exercises and little games, organised by age, skills and competences. There are maybe less diversity of games than in the previously explained website, but there are still enough for practising in many different ways. In contrast with the other web, this one does have audio explication in some of the activities, and it does not show any advertising at all.
